Mast. Nay Htut Aung and Mrs. Khin Mar Oo returned home happily

Master Nay Htut Aung, age 11 years old, was suffering from Kidney disease since last years. His elder brother passed away in 1990 with the same disease. His parents, Mr. Tin Maung Nyein and Mrs. Khin Myint Myi

nt San, decided to save this child whatever the cost may be.  
With this determination, they came to India on 14/5/2012. The cause of disease was unknown. Mast. Nay Htut Aung was admitted to Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolaka, one of the best hospitals in Eastern India, for renal transplant on 14-8-2012 after obtaining necessary permission from Directorate of Health Services, West Bengal Government. His prospective donor was Ms. Wai Wai Kyi. She is his cousin sister. After through
investigations Renal transplant has been done to his body on 16-8-12. Operation was successful. After doing following up for nearly one month, Dr. V V Lakshminarayanan, Consultant Nephrologist, has given his consent to return home.

 Like Mast. Nay Htut Aung, Mrs. Khin Mar Oo, age 52, residence of Darka Village Tract,

Kanbawza Ward, Kangyidaunk Township, Ayeyarwady Region, Myanmar, also came to India on 4-5-2012 with the same disease. The cause of kidney failure was due to high blood pressure. Her kidney donor was Venerable Aw Tha Da. After duly obtaining the permission from West Bengal Government, she was admitted to the same hospital and Renal Transplant has done on 20-7-2012. According to the doctors attending on her, the immediate post operative period was uneventful. However, she had some post operative steroid related agitation which improved with conservative management. After stable condition she was discharged from hospital on 9-8-2012. After follow-up for nearly one and half month, she was also given green signal to go back home. Today (21-9-2012) both Mast. Nay Htut Aung and Mrs. Khin Mar Oo returned home with great happiness which they cannot express
 by words.
